HIVE BREW uses Accelerated Cold Extraction (ACE): pre-infused coffee grounds are loaded into hexagonal brew cells, and cold water passes through the grind bed at a controlled rate, producing espresso-strength concentrate (ERC, typically 7.5 TDS) in under 30 minutes.
